The black and white 'Vette, driven by Bourdon and Aubriet retired after an accident on lap 37. But that yellow Bad Boy, driven by Greder and Rouget, went on to capture 6th place overall and 1st in their GT class.
(Classic 70's trivia: That black top on the Greder/Rouget 'Vette is a vinyl landau roof, so cool)

In 1970 Corvette was victorious in its GT class in all 3 endurance race events: Daytona, Sebring, and Le Mans.

Actually all the Ferraris in the movie are Corvettes underneath. Enzo would not allow them to have real Ferraris since they didn't win.

Better than sex? IMHO, you guys must be sleeping with the wrong women.

Now, ALMOST as good as sex, but it lasts a lot longer.... that one I could agree with. Although I just got back from a long weekend in New Orleans with the GF that definitely challenges even that assertion.

So let's keep the sex and cars discussions separate. Definitely some great stuff there. Though my favorite is still Claude LaLouche's Rendevous.

between the harness bars and race seats there's not a lot of room in the car unless you're a midget, so it's back to hood, trunk or if you're really adventurous, the roof. On the other hand if it does break, I might have an excuse to order a vented CF hood from ACP

Better than sex? Usually this is said by someone with very fast lap times and even shorter booty calls. However, I can attest to Tom's fast lap times and somewhat disheveled look from a long workout at something!
