Default Cerami coating

I just picked up a set of LG headers to replace my TPIS that are cracking. I noticed that they weren't coated and wanted to do a ceramic coating to help protect them and maybe keep the heat down. Is this a good idear?

I personally think the LG Stainless headers are fine without a coating, although I often wrap the areas close to brake lines/wiring. The TPIS headers are mild steel, and don't last long. LG's will last a long long time, and make more torque/power just as they are.
