Great job guys, getting the car down to second in this session shows how much you have done to allow Marc to put it there!

Hi guys,
Marc did a great job with the car. He and Riley work well together with set up. High tide lifts all boats so the set up improvements will be helpful all along the way as we move forward with the program.
LG Motorsports had Kerry Hitt at ACP, build us a new nose and splitter with new under tray, which Riley got homologated for the car for this race. And the improvement in the performance is a testament to the effectiveness. I really have to give a shout out to ACP and Kerry Hitt for helping us with very limited time. The front downforce was significant.
Tomy Drissi, is running the World Challenge race tomorrow so he will get much needed time behind the wheel. He has not driven since his heavy crash at Long Beach where he broke his back.
Goossen will qualify the car tomorrow, so he will drive the practice session alone to help get ready to put down the best qualifying time possible. Then we will go back to a race set up to make the tires last in the long runs.
Thanks again for all the props. The whole team is performing well and so is the car.

An interesting historical sidelight for Marc Goossens, he is not new to Corvette racing. He very successfully drove Corvette C5R-007, which was the first factory-built Corvette racer built strictly as a customer car. Driving C5R-007 for the Belgian Selleslagh Racing Team, Marc clinched the 2005 Belcar GT, GTA and driver's titles, which included the first wins by a European team in a factory-built Corvette race car.
Since SRT and Marc didn't have the advantage that today's European teams have with all the ex-factory cars racing in Europe and all the support, I am sure Marc learned a lot about Corvette race car development. As Lou said, Marc has been great with the setup.
Below - 2005-03-27 - C5R-007 at Zolder, first factory-built private-entry Corvette win in Europe. (Driver not identified but I assume it was Marc.)

It would of been nice to be a little quicker. But only a second off of pole and a second under the old class record for Petit, that is more than respectable!! Now comes the test, a little over 9hrs of Holy-Cow Batman!

I could have zoomed in closer but I was too at the time to pay attention.

A better update.
Goosens was out in Practice and a run in with the XM Acura. Damage to the passenger side rear of car. All crew was in paddock doing everything necessary to repair. Car was done in time for Qualifying.
LGM was running in the 1:20 range Thursday in day practice and 1:28 during night testing. Car is looking good and sounding mean, but GT2 is a tough category and hope Lou and the gang come out in the top.
