That center cap is at least a pound. On the street set the center caps can just be pushed out.

As far as the C10, C14 or C2K I believe the C2K is the lightness of the three at 23 1/2 lbs each.

C14 at 18x13 = 25lbs
C10 at 18x13 = 24.3lbs
C2K at 18x12 = 23.8lbs
Classic 18x12 = 21.6lbs

the Classic hardware
Race version wheels are machined to accept grade 8 cadium hardware as it's less expensive and does the job fine. Street version wheels are machined to accept ARP stainless steel hardware as it will provide a better finish over time. Wheels utilizing the cadium bolts are machined to accept the nuts on the outside/face of the center where with the ARP bolts the nuts are located on the inside of the center.

However, which ever one John recommends for the track

You can't claim the C2K is lighter than the C10 or C14 unless you are comparing the same size.

ROUGHLY, based on weight per inch of width, they would fall in this order from heaviest to lightest:

C2K: 1.983
C14: 1.923
C10: 1.869
Classics: 1.8

That is why I mentioned about which John ( CCW owner ) would recommend.

also wt in the center of the hub ( closer to the center of rotation ) has less of a rotational mass effect then wt at the rim

The stud holes and holes drilled for lightness between the stud holes are not interchangeable.

Only the stud holes have the steel sleeve.
Correct, the race version will not accept a cap. The caps however only weight .40lbs. The lightning holes can be drilled for the street version and you can add the steel inserts to the street version.

No this will not work unless they drill out the center. On the race wheels the center is hub centric and with the street wheels the cap makes them hub centric.

That is also why I like the black. Clean them off and look for small cracks.

Any race wheel does have a finite life time.

Next set most likley will be the C2K as these will fit over a BBK set up.

Our wheels have a lifetime structural warranty on them. Exceptions are any walls, other cars and dukes of hazard jumps, etc.

You would have to run a 1/2" spacer or larger for us to be able to put a cap on it.

The C10 is the lightest Corsair wheel. And either the street or race is ok for the track, both are put through the same testing. Again the caps only weigh .40 lbs. Hope this helps.

You have the option to have steel inserts for the nut seat area, but they are mainly for a track only car that will see planty of use.

You can get street sets for track use with the holes to lighten the wheel that dont go all the way through. This looks much better.

There are cases of Classic center section failure witout stress crack warning. I recommend replacing the fronts after a certain amount of track time.
