Listen to the audio.
My wife raced our 2006 C6 today and did really well. She's hooked and wants more seat time.
This video is of her riding shotgun in the Z06 on the test-n-tune track today. This lap was only 36/100ths off the all time fastest lap I've run here.
Audio is priceless.

She did very well today. I edited my post. We had BOTH Corvettes at the track today. She was riding shotgun in this video in the Z06. The "I think I peed", "Holy Mother of Mary" and "Can I get out now" were priceless. I have videos of her racing the '06. Despite her almost hitting course workers after getting lost, she did pretty good. She hasn't raced in about 4 years. Her last stint was in my '05.

Drifting
My wife rode with me 4 years ago on a FTD pass and I scared her. Two months later she said she wanted to learn to drive. In reality, she only wanted to be in the driver's seat where she had control! Here she is in 2009:

and 2010:

I'm really lucky that she shares the sport with me. Heck, now she talks cam specs, alignment changes, etc. Total car nut! Her first words after driving a 2007 Z06 on street tires in an AX were, "It's too quiet and too slow. It needs headers, intake, better exhaust, alignment, and some good tuning!"

I was instructing at a SCCA PDX at Mid Ohio in October and pulled the fire bottle to put in a passenger seat with a spare five point harness. I took my wife (who AX's a Miata and drives a ZO6 on the street) out for several sessions. After the first she asked if we'd run any 10/10th's laps. After I said that we'd been at maybe 8/10's, she insisted on at least one flat out lap.
After we'd finished several at race pace and had returned to the garage, she said that she was absolutely sure that we were going to run out of the black stuff on at least three exits and marveled that we could run those lines for an entire race.
Cire
P.S. She swears she didn't pee and she wants to do it again! (Yea I know. I'm lucky)

I just did my first track day this past weekend (Oct. 31) in the Z06......what a blast!!!
It was a wedding present from BaaBaaBlackGoat, a Groove Union session.........Thanks Mark!!!
I think I did ok....kept it on the track......Neil didn't leave claw marks in the dash or scream "we're gonna die".
(since I was a novice and there was only one person manning the track, Neil was lucky enough to be my instructor. He's very good at it too.)
