Default Source for Open End Lug Nuts?

Need a source for open ended lug nuts for C6 suitable for track use. Lots on ebay but most look like tuner crowd stuff. Prefer a forum vendor. Thanks!

Twenty bucks a set, free shipping. They're longer than the normal nuts, with more engaged thread.

I use open ended with conical seat so they sit deeper into the wheel. Since I use a small spacer in the rear I don't loose threads using these.

Another Source: www.bimecc-usa.com

They are an Italian company and they have operations in Chino, CA.

I'm going to be purchasing a set of their lugs, the quality is second to none.

Check part number "D14", the specs are as follows: 19mm open hex nut, 12mm X 1.5, 60 degree conical seat, 25mm overall length.

Bimecc is really good huh? Ordered from discount tire direct and wanted gorilla lug nuts since that's what C7 people use. Instead they have bimecc. But very very few people got Bimecc on here it seems.

Can just trust discount tire direct? The lug nuts are 12x1.5 which is correct but they didn't have any other specs like hex size, conical seat etc

McMaster Carr. This is where I get pretty much all my hardware. Good prices and extremely quick shipping.

Question as long as it's M12-1.50 then it will work?

Or do I need to worry about Conical Seat , hex size, overall length etc?

Default Lug Nuts

M12 - 1.50 is the correct thread size for a C5/C6/C7 Corvette. Not sure about C4 and earlier.....

I don't know what you have for wheels but I have been using these Dorman lug nuts (part no 611-063) for a few years on my C6Z track car for both OEM Wheels and CCW C14 wheels. I torque them to 100 Ft Lbs and check torque after each run. It is very rare to find a loose lug nut. They stay tight.

As long has you have full thread engagement for the lug nuts and torque them properly, there is not a need to go longer, in my opinion.

The hex size is for a 3/4 inch socket. Or a 19 mm socket will also work since it is so close in size to 3/4 inch.

I just bought 20 new Dorman lug nuts for the 2019 season through Summit. I assume these are available elsewhere....
