NCM VIR event scheduled for June 25-26, 2012
Never too early to start planning for a great not-to-be-missed event!!!
Just got email from Roc that the NCM VIR HPDE is scheduled for June 25-26, 2012.
I've got it on my calendar.
I guess registration won't open until Feb or Mar, but I'll be ready when it does!!

VIR is about 90 minutes from me.
Can I just come to hang out?
I'll take a vacation day.
If I just came up one day what's the better day?
Sounds very cool.

Spectators are welcome. Just sign in at the NCM HQ tent. Spectators can also sign up for a ride with an instructor for a small donation to the Museum. Warning, this behavior is highly addictive and leads down the slippery slope of money, brake pads and tires. So Welcome to the Darkside

Bob, I was thinking about attending also. It would be with the Corvette of course!
I did VIR this past October again with the Panoz. It is a very fun and fast place!
It was good to see you again at Daytona!

Registration announcement will be in Feb and Registration will be early March.
Spectators are always welcome.
Questions from newbies or Technical questions please send them to me. Most of the guys here know most of the answered and do a great job helping and promoting our event.
Thank you very much . I think last year was our biggest event.
Looking forward to another great event.
If you are in Raleigh area, we are having one of the Corvette Engineers come for a talk on Sat afternoon Jan 14. PM me for details

IIRC in the past they have had single day sign-ups when registration opens.
Monday is the better day to hang out, some folks try to bolt out early on Tuesday.
As for me and the wife, we'll get to Danville Saturday, I'll help tech on sunday at the host hotel, I'll instruct both days and head home on Wednesday. Maybe my power steering won't leak this year.

There ya go, sign up for Prime Drive on Monday, spectate when you aren't on track or in class. When Monday's over you'll be begging for the next time you can do a full weekend.
