Safety wire is always a good idea, but I can't imagine how you did that on the balancer bolt

The stock bolt has a lip on it, just enough to catch the drill bit. Long drill bit put two small holes thru the bolt.

Passed the wire thru the holes & put some twist in then down around one of the "spokes" of the damper.

The stock damper has spokes like a wheel.

20 min & I had to sharpen the bit a little too.

Will post a pic next time I get under there.
