I believe it is a body kit as well.

I can't see the engine being any different from the prior LS 'Pontiac' and 'Chevy' 5.0L engines used over the last 3-4 years. All LS based and if it is like our GT car, pretty limited.

Yeah, I was looking at their rule book and it's pretty clear it has to be "stock".

The engines for our class of cars are pretty much crate engines, with headers and a dry sump. Not much allowed to be done to them. For the longest time they DP cars had to run the truck LS intake as well, they have a little more room to go, but nothing big.

Anthony, can you imagine a DP car with a CUP motor in it? Now THAT would be cool.

Murphythebear Murphythebear
Most likely - but not certain - regular ALMS driver displaced by Garcia is Olivier Beretta, according to other sources.

The most ridiculous statement I've heard in a while:

"The fact that this car went from a sheet of paper to a finished product in 8 months, is truly remarkable. "

I guess with the climate at GM, taking 5 years to bring the Camaro to production (as compared to the Ford Mustang, and Nissan GTR in about 18 months), 8 months for a new body is something out of this world.
If Pete Brock saw this, I'm sure he was laughing.

Those Roush Mustang's managed pretty well for 24 hrs for how many years?

I think they were pretty much 366 ci endurance versions of a cup motor.
