Tedious is probably the best word but once you get in the mode it goes pretty fast. I did that before I did anything else and it only took about 8 hours to tear everything out, organize the individual harnesses and then shorten all the wires.

I could join you at the track.....but I guess I would only be a spectator I guess there is some advantage to living up here....longer project season.

It can save your behind too. I was "bored" two weekends ago so I pulled my valve covers to chetck my valvetrain. I noticed a rocker with a lot of play, like valve lash. Turned out to be a lifter with a bad roller bearing that had apparently gotten damaged before because of a broken valve spring. Luckily I caught it before it knicked the cam lobe. My boredum cost me a head gasket, a set of lifters for that side and the whole day....but Im sure it saved my motor.
