Default Accusump remote fill and pressure gauge?

for you guys running an accusump.

Is it worthwhile to plumb the shrader value and the pressure gauge up to the dash, or do you just pull the fender liner after each track use to check the pressure on the backside of the accu-sump?

Mine is mounted in the left fender well. When I open my door, my gauge is pointed so I can see the pressure from there. I do have my schrader valve plumbed to right behind washer tank so I can get to it without removing liner.

You can see mine in this thread:

I did the recommended upside down install which would have put the gauge at the bottom. You could still get to the the gauge and schrader by removing the small plastic panel that goes from the inner fender to under the car. But thats a hassle.

With a remote / gauge and fill make sure there aren't any leaks before closing it back up. I used Loctite 567 (PTFE filled) pipe thread sealant and can't detect any leakdown even after sitting for over a month.

That is a clean install. Nice work!

why would you check the pressure that often? If it is leaking, you will know it since the pre-lube will not function. I've run many of them, and I've never had to re-charge one unless I intentionally discharged it for service. They are double-o-ringed and the aluminum surface is as smooth as glass

On the installs I have done I kept it simple and remotely mounted the shrader valve up near the hood latch. A tire pressure gauge is then used to set and check pressure.

Any pics of where the accusump is located and mounted? I am trying to find the best location for my C6.

Ok, I see that you trimmed the bottom cross piece of the inner fender bracket. I guessing that this did not cause any issues.

No issues cutting that bracket, but you do lose the ability to put the 7mm headed screw back in at about mid height (from the inside).. I was having issues with my fenders sliding back into the doors at speed so I fabbed up these brakets for each side and added 2 dzus fasteners per side..

And from the outside.. Dont mind the blowout!
