Mercedes introduced his W09. and I have to say that I am very surprised, as they say in French, by its "taille de guêpe", waist of wasp : it is very narrow at the level of the engine hood. She's very thin and beautiful except the flip-flop thing of course...

Doesn't this size 0 concept remind you of anything? Ron Dennis! he was right too early and with Honda, the concept didn't work but AMG Mercedes did it!

I think the engine and cooling system have been optimized. This requires a powerful, reliable and compact motor. The next step is that English engénieur Andy Cowell will cast the hood directly on the engine: lol: like the Batman combination ! next step...

I haven't yet seen Ferrari, 3PM, but I think the W09 will be awesome and again, as often there will be improvements between now and Barcelona.

Hamilton and Mercedes, new deal signed very soon

Ferrari now. very worked pontoons: one of the war zones of F1 2018...

The front end adopts the RBR style, the car is very "piqué" on the front : front very steep and lower than the rear.

Kind of looks like Ferrari put a little lip on their Halo. Maybe they found something in the wind tunnel.

Ferrari's halo is well integrated because it is painted and therefore blends in with the rest of the whole as on the FW41 Ferrari took the "piqué", the English technical term is rake I think, as said WMattastick above, rake of RBR and took the long wheelbase of the Mercedes.

Mercedes and Ferrari have adopted the size 0 concept of Ron Dennis. Ferrari is a revolution said Binotto and W09 Mercedes seems to be an evolution. Between the two, the Mercedes seems more fluid to me but only the track will judge aerodynamic discoveries of the ingénieurs, it's just my impession, rendez-vous on Monday.

Sad, but true.

What they were afraid of is a wheel coming down on a driver's head (like what happened to Justin Wilson in Indycar).

No doubt.
We're definitely going to be hearing controversy about the aero qualities of the Halo...

First laps of the wheel, without breaking lol for Nando in Navarra, NE of Spania, near the French border this morning. Oh the Renault sounds so good.... Exclusive videos, in 2 parts because upload directly from my computer, max 5MO on CF, exclusive for CF friends

PS : Boullier said that after driving the MCL33 for 50 km this morning, Nando smiles like the McL garage. There were no problems with the systems. McLaren's back in business

And for you, the US F1 HAAS, no video at this time but few pics...

You can see Ferrari, Sauber, Toro Rosso, Williams have the same noise. Only Mercedes at this time conserves its very fine nose.

Editing : Romain Grosjean took the track after 2 pm but I don't know the result nor if Kevin Magnussen could also ride on this test track : HAAS is already in Catalunya Barcelona, Spain for this shackdown. The HAAS VF 18 is already much more elaborate than its predecessor
