Some discussion of the twin turbo car here.....

Itís hard to pick a favorite, this was the first big time race/race car I got to see live (at Mid-Ohio at the old USRRC, the precursor to the Can-Am), itís what got me interested

Yeah, that Chaparral is such an iconic mid-60s race car. Love it!

It was powered by a rather ordinary 2-liter, 220 hp, air-cooled flat six which propelled it to an amazing top speed of 170 mph. At Le Mans in 1966, the 906 placed 4-5-6-7 behind three factory 427 Ford GTs, but ahead of all the bigger V12-engined Ferraris.

The original owner's manual for one of these was recently auctioned off on BaT for $13,000.
if your a Porsche fan you should come see the cars at the Revs institute.

I was lucky enough to go to Watkins Glen for the 1974 Grand Prix race there.
Loved the all black Lotus with the John Player Special team.
Great race except for a driver getting decapitated there. We saw it.

Watkins Glen in the Fall foliage season was a great place. And being able to walk around and see much of the track from different angles was so different from any other race I had seen.

Looks like an awesome place. I saw some of those cars here in NC at, of all places, the North Carolina Museum of Art. Here are some pics.
