Recommendation for Rotors and Pads for C7 GS
#21
I have a Stingray which doesn't have full floating 2-part rotors like your GS has so my PNs don't translate to a GS car. I would reach out to Ken at KNS brakes as he does a lot of work with these cars.

Here is clarity on the discs for the GS/Z
DBA - rings only
Girodisc - they make full assemblies that use their hat/hardware/floating design with a D-bobbin
Girodisc (new) also have made a replacement disc like the DBA disc which we test fitted recently. This is NOT the same ring as the Girodisc assembly.

Can you list the part numbers for DBA Rings for Grand Sport?

Thanks Ken.
Do DBA and GiroDisc include the hardware needed to install the rings? A GM dealer told me that the hardware is not available without the OEM rotor, and the bolts shouldn't be re-used

The route Ken mentions in the video is what I'll be doing. I picked up a second set of OEM fronts and once I need rings, I'll go the DBA route. In the rear I'm using Girodisc. Hard to pass up an easy 16 lbs of weight savings.
