Default Le Mans broadcast on Motortrend

At the Corvette Racing website, they indicate the entire Le Mans race will be broadcast on Motortrend TV. Is this a broadcast you get on cable, or do you have to subscribe to MotorTrend television on top of your cable subscription to get this live broadcast?

Thanks.

Is the race going to be shown anywhere else on cable? NBCSN, etc.? Any other way to watch besides paying extra to Motortrend?

I believe they are doing like last year....All 24 hours on Motortrend TV which should be on many cable packages (it was the old Velocity TV) and you can watch it on your cable without any additional subscription. However, to stream outside of the home you needed to subscribe to Motortrend streaming/on demand which has a 2 week free trial. Last year I believe the streaming component also aired qualifying, so you can get that in your 14 day trial as well. Probably worth the 1 month (4.99) price anyway...

The WEC feed last year (and I assume this year) is geo restricted in the US since Motortrend TV has the US rights. VPN can get around this.

Also, I noticed that my TV provider (DirecTV) now also offers Motor Trend streaming of live shows (they did not last year) if I subscribe to the program, so it is possible you can stream if you can authenticate a channel subscription. Otherwise, still Motor Trend Subscription/14 day trial, or VPN to get around the WEC geo limits.
