idle speed problem

Well, I did something wrong. The idle speed will not go below 1100 rpm.
I installed the breakerless se point conversion. Now the idle is real rough and I can't get below 1100 rpm. When driving it runs great! Do you think I just have a bad unit?

IMO you need to check your timing and reset the idle screw. Make sure the fast idle screw is not engaged by stuck choke linkage.
