Need Help Identifying Leaf Spring
I just bought what I think is a '63 standard leaf spring. The problem is that I count 10 leafs and I thought there should only be 9. Can anyone help?

10 leafs - interesting, but not right. The rolled edges don't quite look tapered enough (could be the pics) but the bushing cups look pretty darn good. With the 10 leafs the spacing is not correct from leaf-to-leaf.
Below is a pic of a 2-stage spring (As opposed to the "correct" single stage). Note the spacing and ends.

Hi Gary. That's a 10 leaf GM replacement spring. Don't know when they were available, or if they're still available. I've seen them at flea markets, etc.
As Joe said, the "curls" on the ends of the leaves aren't right, and the spacing between the leaves is too close. Also, looks like the ends of the leaves flare somewhat. Chuck
