I've really enjoyed reading the forums here and appreciates everyone's knowlege and enthusiasm for helping those of us less in the know. I've gotten the bug for a C2 every once in a while since the early 90's when you could still get a decent roadster for $15K.
My question of the day is does anyone know anything about this website? They ask for $15 to look at totalled insurance cars around the country. A couple of roadsters appear on the site for a decent price. I can't imagine this information isn't readily available elsewhere for free. Anyone know anything about this?
that site and the ready-to-fix site appear to be shady and some might call them "scams" - try googling yourself on "AutoSource-Online.com Scam" and see what you come up with . . . . .
It's just not that easy to get something for less than it is really worth, you have to work hard and look all over. Not saying you won't be the reare one to find a "barn find" car where the seller is uninformed and willing to let it go for cheap, but I got to tell you: something for nothing just doesn't exist, and certainly not in THIS hobby.
