I'm getting close to completing the restoration of the hardtop and need to get it out of the restoration facility (some call it the rec room).
I'm looking for ideas on how to store the thing in my garage. Do I just buy one of the stands that CC and others sell, or is there a better way to protect it and keep it off the floor. The garage has a fairly low ceiling, so hanging it above the car is not a real option.
I would appreciate hearing how others handled this. :chevy
I cut a piece of plywood and put it on top of my wheel barrow,
I keep it covered in front of my car in the garage. It allows me to move it around
(by myself) and the space was vacant any way. Not too sexy, but it works for me! ;)
I think those stands you mention are great but I built one from 4 2X4's, a set of casters and an old piece of carpet in about an hour for $12.00. javascript: DoInsert(' :smash: ');
