Well, after two months of working on the chassis on the weekends it is almost complete. All i lack now is the brake lines and the tie rods. Check out my FAT new sway bar.
The frame was acid dipped, e-coated, and powdercoated. It really looks amazing!!!
I did the small parts such as the A-arms, steering box, half shafts, etc. at home. Most everything on the car is powdercoated including the bolts and cad plated parts-i hit the cad plated parts with a low gloss clear to prevent them from oxidizing.
The pictures bring back some great memories of when I did mine a few years ago. I've said this before and I will say it again, sometimes a running chassis looks so good that you don't want to cover it up with the body.
One comment; It is hard to tell from the pictures but, it looks like you already torque down the bushings on the A-arms. None of the suspension bushings should be torque to spec until the motor and body are on the frame. If this is not the case then sorry for the comment.
