*@!***#@# Ups!!!
Apparently we do not travel in the same circles.
Joking aside, my UPS guy is the best. Of course ten people could have handled it before he gets it but I have not had a problem. One Winter's evening I found my UPS order at the beginning of my 600 foot long driveway in a snow bank. It was exhaust manifolds and risers for my boat. They were very heavy and my driveway had not been plowed for that day's storm. I didn't blame him a bit. They were packaged well and not damaged (too much).
I like my UPS guy. Those guys hustle like no USPS guy will ever do. After a recent delivery he came into the barn and checked out my '60 and my Dad's '56. He was genuinley enthusiastic about the resto. He came to understand why the zillion Corvette Central boxes were being delivered.
I agree with the above posts citing the shipper not the handler culpable for damage. Do any of us think the warehouse morons do not make a sport out of package basketball?
My view from Tolland, MA population 400 and lowest tax rate in the state*.
