Default Window Regulator Source

Greetings All:

I was in need of new vent window regulators for my 65 coupe. Using this forum, I found a vendor in California: "America's Finest Corvettes" who markets replacement regulators as well as rebuild kits. I ordered two rebuild kits and that was about 3 weeks ago. I attempted to call this company several times but can only get a recording. I attempted to send them an email but it was returned. Before I proceed ahead and order regulators from a more reliable source, can anyone tell me if they had any dealings with this outfit? I would really like to complete this little project before the summer is up. Based on our initial phone conversation, they seemed pretty knowing and sincere but it sure looks like they went out of business or something.

Yes, I've dealt with Mike a few times, he can be really hard to get a hold of and the email doesn't work as that web site is way out of date.
He has more than one phone number, I've never had any luck with that voice mail one. I'm running out the door but maybe paul67 has a better number for you.

He makes the parts for all the other vendors, he is the man!

Don,

I had a similar experience with Mike. I phone ordered (talked to Mike himself) lower ball joints and tie rod ends. After two weeks and no parts I checked with my credit card and discovered no charges were made. I emailed Mike and cancelled the order, got the parts elsewhere.

Just replaced my drivers side vent regulator with a part from Paragon. I think its probably the same part that all the main vendors sell. It all went in fine, but the crank handle itself doesn't fit the shaft very well.

I have found few repro parts that fit like the originals. I have kept my old regulator and I'll attempt a rebuild on it during the winter when I need something to do.

Default On their way

I finally was able to reach Mike. My parts are on their way. I was not sure if the company went T.U. all of a sudden. But I understand the owner went out of town. I just hate to be hanging.

Thanks guys.
