Default engine block date code

Hi, I'm a new member and a proud owner of a nice 64 convertable. I know the motor is not the original. I would like to find more about the 327 that is in it. I found the block casting number 3858174, Mortec web site indicated 1964 t0 1967. Engine code is F0420HAH = Flint, April 20, any idea what the HAH stands for. I can not find the engine date code, is it suppose to be on the top of the motor by the distributer and bell house or where?
Thanks, Craig

The block casting number is correct for a 1966 327 in a Corvette #3858174, but to my knowledge, there was not a mid-year code for HAH, all of the codes are just two letters (e.g. HE would be a 327/300hp with a manual trans in 1966).

Are you sure you're readying the stamp pad correctly?

Passenger side by the distributor. You may have to remove shielding.

"HAH" was a '66 327/275hp Holley 4-barrel 4-speed engine from a full-size passenger car (Impala).
