Frame Dipping
Hi Guys,
I am taking the body off my 64 vert in the next few weeks and was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to bring the frame to be dipped. I live in Staten Island NY and am hoping there is someone reputable near by. Also if you could let me know how much to expect to pay for it.

Look up Redi Strip in your area. There are quite a few of them around. It cost me $312 to strip my frame and a few other parts with them back in the early 90s. You can figure it's gone up since then.

While Im definately not suggesting this as an alternative to dipping
I just hought I would give you this link for a maintenence product
to fight off rust... Gibbs Brand ..
There are some impressive pics on the Roadsters.com site of before
and after shots taken by the Roadsters.com administrator...
I know the Northern Guys suffer alot more rust problems than we
do down here so I hope this is helpful to you.
