Let me know what you think.
I recommend Hoosier Street TDs on your ARE TTD Wheels

Sorry guys I've been distracted with some personal family issues. I ended up installing 3/4" whitewall tires on the stock wheels. I may still add some TTDs at a later date.

Is it just me, or did your poll thing not turn out? I see a small strip with view poll resuslts and that's all. I like DB Michelins with the proper stripe on a restored midyear in a 215-75 size for the proper look and a great ride. K

I'm BFG radials all the way, from 50-series Radial T/A's on restomods to your choice of 15" whitewall passenger car tires in 75-series for stock looks with better handling, wet or dry.

Default Wheels Tires for 66

I realize that this thread and your post is 4 years old but I'm wondering if you had to make any mods to the car to fit those wheels and tires in it? It looks great and I would like to get that effect on mine too.

Thanks!

You should start your own thread about this. Ken hasnt posted here on the forum for almost a year.

Default Wheels Tires for 66

Thanks dahogan. I searched the archives pretty extensively before posting and am a little leery of starting a new thread on the subject. Some folks on the forum seem to get bent out of shape if you ask a question that has been discussed previously.

So where's the poll?

I was told there'd be a poll.

215-70R-15, or 75s for a slightly taller look, hardly noticeable.

Thanks! I like the lower profile look of the 215's. Do you recommend the stock wheel size or can wider wheels fit without and modifications?
