Has anyone found a built sheet in they 64 coupe In the back. I know they put some of them in the bucket seat springs and etc, in other cars I have the original carpet in my 64 and I am thinking there could be a sheet in there somewhere
These answers are funny! I heard that before tank stickers, they sometime tucked them under/in the seat frames. Since you have the original carpet, you may be lucky. I never found mine. I took out the seats and looked. Good luck
Before i bought the corvette i bought a 1966 Chevelle Conv. There was a built sheet in the back seat springs and there was another one in the front bucket seat that belonged to the next car and was put in mine by mistake What do you think of that
I have copies of my GGG Grandfather, answering roll call in the Confederate Army in 1863 (place, time and signature.) But not one stinking piece of paper for a 40 year old car.

Are you inferring that had the South won The War of Northern Aggression, Mid-years would have come with lotsa good documention?
What unit ? I love the battle of G'burg. If you want to see a GOOD movie. You can buy/rent "Gettysburg" with Tom Berringer, Martin Sheen and a few others. It is the most accurate movie about the CW or specifically G'burg out there. If we could only go back to the 3rd day at 1:00 P.M. and rethunk it

He was in the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment. with Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain I have a book named Maine at Gettysburg and it has every one from Maine that was at Gettysburg and what rank and etc. Also shows battle fields .At one time my grandfather had a book that showed everybody that was at Gettysburg ,but it disappeared
At the end of the war. The majority of Confederate documents were destroyed by fire in Richmond. Yet, today, we can still go back 140+ years and find almost any one person that served in the CSA military. But, we can't find one piece of paper about a car that is only 40 years old....

Wow ! That unit is legendary. They were the EXTREME left of the Union Army. Confederates made several assaults against that position at Little roundtop to try and outflank them and turn the army. The unit was out of ammo, tired and lots of casualities. Chamberlain ordered a bayonet charge with a sweeping motion like a door moves during the last assault. That was the last one the Confeds. made against them. Had they flanked them and forced the Union to give up the high ground.........another "What if" of the CW.
I have visited the battlefield many times. I stand on top of Little Roundtop and think about all the good boys that wore the blue and gray.

Also my grandmother ,grandfather was with him My grandfather was bon when his father was 56 ,so that is why it was my grandfather father and my grandmother grandfather was together Kind of neat
That is neat. Here's a few pics from on top of Little Round Top. To the left
is, "Devils Den". Back towards the right would have been the Union line. The 20th Maine, would have been on the backside of Little Roundtop.
