As far as I know when you post you can delete "your" post(s) only by going to the edit button and selecting delete. The select delete again and "poof" it's gone. I guess if you're the only one who has posted it will delete the thread.

as was said, you can delete your own posts, one at a time. you can't delete posts by another forum member (thus you cannot delete threads unless they consist solely of your own posts), that would surely get out of hand. Thankfully, they don't vanish entire threads over here very often, like they do on other forums at the request of a member (to protect the pedigree of his car by clearing the internet of questioning posts, for instance).
