Low ball price $8-10K. If you're not interested, shoot me an e-mail and I'll come and get it tomorrow.

Thanks, that's what a friend said too (about 8-10) on the low side. I am looking at the car at 1:00 today. Any idea on the high side (if it is as cherry as they say it is)?

as usual, things are not always as they seem. and anything sounding too good to be true--------usually is.

car was completely restored "to original condition". the auction Ad was somewhat misleading. This car was near showroom condition, did not belong to the guy selling the property, but to his dad (who just happens to restore cars for a living), and is being used (i believe) as a drawcard for the personal property auction. It's an original 6-cyl car (the six-cyl was nowhere to be seen), but did have a 66 283 in it. They would not sell before the auction, and at the auction--the car will have a reserve on it, but they would not reveal what that reserve was. There were other cars in the building where the nova was, in various stages of restoration. This guy has been doing restos for years and selling them--so he knows exactly what the car is worth. There will be no bargain found at this auction because this guy knows his stuff and he will want every penny the car is worth..
Sorry to disappoint guys, i was hoping to post some pix by now of my new toy, but hey-it was fun thinking i had possibly stumbled upon something. Hadn't felt that way since i bought the 65.
What the heck-i needed a day off anyways.
thanks for your help and interest guys-maybe next time

Nice 66-67 Nova's are desirable and very hard to find. I prefer them over Chevelle's or Camaro's because they are a nice size and are a rare sight. Camaro's and Chevelle's probably outnumber them 20:1.
I looked for more than a year, but never made a deal on one. Nice one's bring good money. I was looking at examples in the $25K-$35K range.
