I'm new to this board but i just wanna tell some people my situation.. Im only 18 and a senior. In my barn are two corvettes: a '67 and '61. The '67 is totally complete 427 car with original paint side pipes and power windows. The only thing missing is the engine which was pulled out to be rebuilt and has never been finished. Now it just sits, and for the 61, it has been completely dissassembled and the motor is hidden in parts throughout the barn. The problem is Im going off to college to play football and so i do not have the time to inheret and restore either of these from my father.. so they sit and wait, im just hoping when i come outof college i still have the same desire as i do now to restore them.
I didn't really see a question in your comments, but the fact that the cars are in pieces makes them absolutely worthless now. There's just too many small pieces to ever be able to get the cars back together. However!
In the light of that somber note, I would be more than happy to relieve you of the pressure these "parts" are causing in your life. You're off to school, and you shouldn't be bothered with the nagging details of a messy garage left behind.
so the 67 is Marnia Blue with bright blue interior. can you please tell the whole story on the cars, your dad, and why he is giving them to you. and you should fill out your profile so it doesnt seem like your a newb troll who is here to brag about what his daddy gave him.

the cars are not in parts, only the 61 is and the 67 is complete. These originally belonged to my dads family and he owed 4 corvettes his hole life. the 67 hasnt been driven since 1988 the year i was born. and the other two corvettes he had purchased throught his life he had to sell to take up dirt late model racing. and when we moved into our home the 67' was parked in my barn and never moved since.
It's about time you joined the fray. If YOU say we are owned, then I will accept the rebuke. However, the original post was so obtuse that it demanded a smart **** response. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
I have to admit the boy Wilson has posted up what appears to be a pic of a C2 . . . . .gonna have to go with Bob's "OWNAGE" advice, y'all just got owned

Now if the other guy with lot's of old vettes in his barn posts pics, it will be a clean sweep!
Wow, what a small world. I'm in the same boat (except I'm going to college to learn something - too small for football). In addition at an all original '69 ZL1, I have a '67 L88 (neither running at the moment). I also have a '68 Shelby GT500KR convertible, and a '71 Cuda Hemi Vert - both with less than 10K original miles. I think that by the time I get out of school, I will want to sell them cheap and move on with life. What should I do?
You should sell them to me cheap that way I can have book end cars(the 500GTKR and Hemi Cuda), and I'll give the ZL-1 to the 1st person that can tell what number I am thinking of between 1 and 3. That would be the honorable thing to do.
