Default Matching Engine/trans price

Lets say i wanted to get a complete engine and transmission for my 66 vert Vin#194676S108435 so everything would match my car.

what would it cost me...???

well if you found the "real" engine then that would be LOTS of $$. If you want to make them original yourself, then a hell of a lot less... Its your money...

I'm doing that very same thing and I would plan on a minimum of $5K and depending on what all you want to do and type of motor. I am doing a 327/365 motor with all correct date codes within 3 weeks of the car's born date. Good luck finding parts. Let me know what dates you need as I have done some research and have a few contacts with blocks, heads, carburetors, intake and exhaust manifolds etc.

I believe mine i 12-14-66...am i wrong?

I used this site from NCRS http://www.ncrswi.bizland.com/bday/bdaycalc.htm

I put your vin and year in and it states 9-2-65


I have to agree 9-2-65 does not sound right. I entered the VIN in twice and it came up with that date both times? 12-14-65 sounds more likely.
