Lets say i wanted to get a complete engine and transmission for my 66 vert Vin#194676S108435 so everything would match my car.
what would it cost me...???
jack
well if you found the "real" engine then that would be LOTS of $$. If you want to make them original yourself, then a hell of a lot less... Its your money...

I'm doing that very same thing and I would plan on a minimum of $5K and depending on what all you want to do and type of motor. I am doing a 327/365 motor with all correct date codes within 3 weeks of the car's born date. Good luck finding parts. Let me know what dates you need as I have done some research and have a few contacts with blocks, heads, carburetors, intake and exhaust manifolds etc.
