Browser Locks Up
Has anyone noticed that their browser locks up for a few seconds since that ad for IShares started running at the bottom of every thread ??? I'm running Firefox as the browser for this site. Netscape & IE for some reason don't display the pictures & graphics on this website.

been running Firefox for quite sometime - no problems here! but, then I don't run any Micro**** applications either - completely Linux for me

I'm running FireFox too, but I don't see any ad for IShares at the bottom of every thread, or any thread for that matter. Can you post a screen capture of what you see? Maybe you've got a google toolbar or other annoying (sorry, valuable) helper application installed.

I've never seen the IShares thing at all, and have had no problems; running XP2 Home and IE6 or IE7. Sounds like you may have an ad-ware problem; run Spy-Bot 1.4 on your setup and see what it catches.

As far as Firefox download Spybot and let 'er rip. AFAIK, you will have to continually search for its latest updates and manually run it every once in a while, but it does find spyware.
I had the same problem with IE Exploder after I upgraded Windows. Had to add Activex and Java VM (Virtual Machine) to get the pictures and graphics to come back.
