Ok, so our 67 vert shows 974AA on the trim tag. I checked the NCRS judging manual and it shows that the "AA" indicated a St. Louis build and not A.O. Smith. That is confirmed by the body ID of "S0081".
My question is, is the "AA" just a code that St. Louis decided to put on their bodies? Not sure what else the "AA" means....

Hello,
The "AA" after the paint code 974. The ST. Louis plant had other building making cars and trucks The other cars were offer in 2 tone paint colors. The break down is for the top and lower colors. The AA is telling that the top and lower are the same color.
