Help,1961 No signal lights
Hello the signal lights and brake lights on my car have stopped working. I still have headlights,parking lights and tailights. Can anyone give me a few ideas.

Most likely the turn signal switch is the problem since the brake lights run through it. First check the connector at the base of the steering column for broken or corroded wires.

Check the harness that comes from the rear and connects to the steering column where the turn signal wire (ribbon style cable) comes out and connects. One or more of the spade terminals can slip out. Also check the flasher on the fuse block - it is cheap to replace if even to eliminate one of the possibilities.
Lastly, double check that the ground pigtails off of the taillights are in good shape and well connected.
