Default linkage adjustment

Fellows-My 67 4spd has been rebuilt and runs pretty good but I have never adjusted the linkage adjustment (in 6 years). The trans feels a little "notchey" and maybe an adjustment is needed. On page 7-22 of the manual they mention a locating gage. Does anyone know where this can be obtained or what are the dimentions to make one. Any other pitfalls before I start? steve

There is no need to buy a guage all you need to to is line up all of the knotches and you will be good to go. Dave

The notches have a 3/16 (I think) hole in them so you can put one bolt through them all to keep the notches lined up while working on the adjustment.

The stock shifter has a slot in the levers, not a hole (Hurst shifters have a hole); the gage can be made from whatever's handy (aluminum, wood, whatever) and it's 1/8" thick, .646" wide, and 3" long.
