Am active in Garden Railroading and have built one of the most spectacular layouts that has graced many newspapers and even magazine. I design and build my own electronic circuitry for automatic operation of the trains.

At age 61:
Work on my "fun" cars, drive them whenever the weather so allows.
Collect guns, shoot guns.
Collect vintage Martin guitars, try to play them beyond the usual three-four chord progessions (I haven't learned a whole lot since I was about 18!).
Work, so I can do all the above.
Check with the wife to see if there's anything else to take care of each month.

I retired after 23 years in the Air Force, 10 years with the State, now I have 1.5 years before full retirement. My other loves are golf, which is kind out of the question this time of year in Phoenix, shooting, which I don't get enough time for, and volunteering - putting back into the community that helped raise our great kids. I work every weekend with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office as a Posseman. We just finished remodeling the house, so now I get to start spending on the '64.
