I made mine out of 1 5/8 x .120 DOM . My car (64 Coupe) had one installed in it's previous life and the patched the holes in the floor with old shingles ! So I figured "What the heck" and bought dies for my tubing bender and a couple joints of tubing. I have some left over if you want me to bend you one. I fit it real tight to the roof and sides. Haven't decided to weld it in or bolt yet. Send e-mail for pics.
