We got the engine out last Fri. Sprayed degreaser in engine bay
tonight. Then I hit it w/ the pressure washer. It took quite a bit
of the grease and crud off. Now I can start on removing the front
suspension and get that rebuilt. Here's a few pics.

Reason: to update thread
More damage will result if you drop something in the intake.
That's the old motor. I am selling that one to a friend to
put in a Nova he is building. The rebuilt 427 is in the
background of the pic from the side of the car. But I
will take your advice and cover that up. At the time
of that pic we just got finished removing everything.
Got the left side suspension out tonight. Went pretty
easily. The spring was the only tricky part. But all
in all went well. Took about 1 hour. Will post more
pics tomorrow.
New pics. Got the front suspension back in today, along w/
the wiper motor. I used the spring compressor method I found
on the forum. The first side took us about an hour. The second
one about 20 mins. Hope to get steering done tomorrow.
