Eckler's
It took two weeks to get an upper radiator hose from them. It was in stock and was told I would have it in 5 days +/- a day. Not trying to stir the pot, but just a bit of information. I only ordered it from them as others were out of stock........
Purchased thousands in parts from Ecklers. Never had a problem. Shipping this time of year when stock supplies can be low is normal. 5-10 days typical. Two weeks not unheard of if you ship basic ground.
Got no problem with Ecklers.
At least they had the hose...when no one else did.
I ordered virtually all under-hood hoses (radiator hoses, heater hoses, etc) for my '64 from Doc Rebuild last week, and received the package two days later. The quality of the parts looks very good.
Eckler's suckth that's for sure.. You said that "everyone" was out of stock.. Did you contact LIC? I can't remember a time they did not have it on the shelf...
I recently went to a Auto Value store and bought molded upper and lower Gates hoses for the 68 for less than $25.00 for both and in stock. Look gentlemen dont forget the locals. They have much stronger sources than the vendors when it comes to general parts. Which is almost everything except body and interior parts. Plus only about 1/2 the price and no high dollar S&H...

I have placed orders from LICS (New York) every month for the last 10 months and have them shipped to Key West via UPS Ground, 4-5 days max and I have them in hand.
Was it sent UPS or USPS (mail)? I had them mail me a part thinking I'd save some money on UPS shipping fees. It took two weeks to get the order, and I feel like they probably over charged for shipping. It would have been nice if they would have spent the extra $.10 or whatever for Priority Mail if they were going to over charge me anyway... then at least I would have had it in two or three days instead of two weeks.

That's nice.
Of course it has nothing to do with shipping to Washington State does it? No...it doesn't.... and that's where he lives.
Eckler's is located in Titusville, Florida.
It's going to take at least 7-days via UPS ground to make it across country. And if you've got snow and lousy weather... it's going to take a couple of weeks.
I actually drive to Eckler's when I'm desperate for a part (about 50 minute trip) but their prices lately have turned me off. Corvette Central had a reproduction '61 package tray for $65 which I found out after paying $95 through Eckler's. I don't believe its better quality either; I mean its a package tray - not much there.
I have started noticing similar mark ups on other items.

I ordered a small part from Eckler's It said it would take 5-7 days.I use to get them in about 4 days.I do not think it is the vender UPS seems to drag their feet and it end up to be two weeks. If you want it faster you pay more money and they make more profit.Shipping on my part was about half the price of the part, but I needed it.I look for venders that have free shipping there are some out there.Good luck.....Vince
I ordered two video games from Amazon, they shipped it USPS and it took 3 weeks to get here. USPS had it on the website as shipped, I swear it sat in Illinois for two weeks.
USPS is the suc*...............
Moral of the story: Don't blame the vender if you are too cheap to pay for shipping.

It's going to take 6 days from Titusville FL to Southeast WA state when using UPS ground. The fact that it took 14 days is in no way the fault of UPS. Think about it, this is one of the top companies in the US for efficiency and to bust that delivery date by greater than 100% is not likely.
My guess is that Ecklers did not fill the order in a timely manner which added to the lead time.
I ordered parts from Ecklers on 1/14/18. They do not stock the item, so it had to be drop shipped from another location. 6 to 7 days was the estimated time. Granted it's only been 10 days, but I need those parts!
Other than that, I find some of their prices to be very competitive, and others are way out of line (too high). You just have to shop around if it's something that's going to cost more than just a few bucks.
I do have the convenience of driving to Ecklers if I need it right away (other than this time), they are only about 45 minutes (or so ) up the road.
Has anybody noticed that several different vendors on-line catalogs take you to the same www.parts123.com site ? I think I can remember 3 and possibly a 4th company that vectors you there. So, I'm betting there is some big parts broker somewhere that services several of the corvette suppliers.
