So, regarding interiors: Is Al Knoch a separate manufacture? Is Al Knoch quality better than Corvette Central or anyone else?

Yes.

That seems to depend on the part. Pretty much everything else is made by Corvette America.

I have ordered from all the Regular Vendors listed , Ecklers, Corvette America and Zip. If someone would post a thread listing the other acceptable vendors it would help us all.
Thanks for all you guys do fr the novices like me.

Too many to list and some very specialized (e.g. Tom DeWitt for radiators). I use VetteGal (Mary Jo) for rare parts and Dr. Rebuild for small items that I want near original or highest quality....hoses, fasteners, small chrome parts.

Boy after reading this thread I'd be squirming if I worked for Ecklers, and rightfully so.

For interiors, no one beats Al Koch in terms of quality and customer service I had them do the seats on my 66 and only wish they'd move into the broader GM world so I could have them do the Goat.

I've had good luck with parts turn-around time from both Paragon and LIC, but I just got sick of the listening to the woman at LIC; if I want to listen to a rude Brooklyn Harpy, I can always call my inlaws. Darned if I want to pay for surly attitude. That aside, I still think LIC has the best catalogs in the business.

I like Volunteer Vettes,Long Island Corvettes, and Paragon. Seems like most of the big vendors are east of the Mississippi.

Paragon is another good vendor. VB&P and Van Steel are great for suspension/brake stuff.
