Right door lock problem ?
Hi, Having a problem with the right door lock assembley, putting it back in after painting. All seems to work well outside, everything is good and clean,and loose. I put it back in ,it Locks up as if it is in a bind, I loosen all the screws, it works fine.What is it I am not seeing ?....Am I missing a spacer? All help is welcome. Thanks for reading!

Well, since you haven't gotten any replies yet, here's a bump to the top, as well as a suggestion - do you have the lock in upside down? I seem to remember someone here found their door locks were stiff, and it was because the left lock was on the right side and upside down, and the right lock was on the left side and upside down.

the locks are specific for right and left side. It is very difficult to get the slider that holds the lock (inside the door) in place if the locks are reversed, but right side up. Not sure if the slider would be as difficult if the lock is upside down.
