Seriously, it looks like you have some work ahead for you. Doesn't look like anything that could not be taken care of though. Good luck with the project and keep us informed.
Can you say new front end, bumpers, grill, buckets, align, and what other damage can't be seen, then a paint job. BUT, the real ? is how do you find a barn in a trailer park? Good Luck, it will turn out the way it should. BEAUTIFUL, Bill.
Computers, cameras (wrong date), cell phones... who the hell can operate these things except your children! Had to wait until my son could come over and show me how to load these pictures.
Guy who owned car before me had a few too many, ran stop sign, sat under his carport for 10 years... gonna restore it someday, nagging wife, wild a** kids, yadda, yaddda, yadda. Got to be too much for him and I picked it up cheap. Needs lots of work, but what the hell!
On a side note, I love this forum. This is better than subscribing to magazines. Instant access to members for advice, encouragement, pictures posted by members to help others and its year specific if needed.
Now if I could only figure out how to get those smiley faces on a post!
I got this car in November and planned to make a resto rod. I posted a thread asking how to identify if it was a real fuelie car because of the hole in the radiator support and other things that kinda, sorta lead me to think this might be the real deal. I still don't know if it is! But as things happen, a fellow forum member from the ZR-1 side (I also have a '95 ZR-1) offered me a 'brother-in-law' deal on a '64 FI w/ distributor, air cleaner and S-tube (thanks Glenn). So now I'll have a resto rod w/ fuel injection unit. Car has power steering and power brakes, but I want R&P and disc brakes and A/C
Here are a couple more pictures after a good pressure washing.
