Hey Guy's,
Thanks for the positive comments. Obviously the rear wheels are original era American's. The front wheels are Team III out of Stockton CA. The size is 15" X 6" for the front wheels. 15" X 7" in the rear.
Under the hood is a ZZ4 crate motor with the hot cam kit. It really does very good for a crate motor. Supposed to be just under 400 HP. Obviously a lot more than the original that I took out. Does real good for the ole '62.
Still like the kidney bean wheels lon K2's. Love the wire covers over the headlights. Great looking '61! Many great looking cars here!
Maybe I'll have to get a set of kidney beans as well. Then I can change the look in just a few minutes!

I agree, there are many great looking cars and wheels on this forum.
Louie, those 5 spokes look exceptionally well on your car. Very distinctive and period look. Are those welded 2 piece wheels? Phil does make some beautiful wheels!

The wheels on my 62 are stock 15 X 5 on the front and 15 X 6 on the rear, the centers have been blasted and then painted,we then added painted glamour rings rather than chrome ones with spider caps.

Vettedad, You're '61 looks great! Hood pins, L88 style hood, cragars, sidepipes and hanging dice all add up to a great looking car.
I don't know about the rest of you guys but I would take a modified vette over a boring NCRS anyday!
But in all fairness there is a market and appreciation for both.
See Ya, Pat

I like the "plain" look of the big brake wheels.

Wow......some old pics from a very old post!
This is what the car looks like today. Similar, but significantly different.
The wheels in front are ET Team III, as well as the new ones on the back. Again ET Team III wheels in the back as well.
New paint, chrome, wheels, interior, motor and suspension from those old pics.

I am thinking about putting a nice set of rims and tires on my 62 for around town. I have the correct thin white walls and spinner caps now. I would keep them and use this set for a change.
What wheels and tires do you have? Love to see some pictures.
What are the widest tires you can put on a 62?
Thanks!
