I had the same question & through a search on the NCRS board this plater had a consistent nod. http://www.carchrome.com/

FYI, I have no experience with them. Maybe someone else can comment on them.

I've had many sets of bumpers done by Custom Chrome in Graffton Ohio. Very expensive but their work is excellent. Have never had an issue with their work.

I used Knox custom chrome in Knoxville Tennessee. They told me that they don't smooth out the top of the bumpers as that does take away from NCRS points. Be careful that you specify that you don't want the tops smoothed out.

In the NCRS mag there is a place in Philadelphia and the might be the closest for shipping cost.

There is also Nassau Chrome in Mineola here in NY... I had them do all of my 65's chrome and it came out SUPERB... You're looking at 3-4 months tho...

Default Paul's

If just spent a small fortune with Paul's chrome in PA and for my money, he does the best work. If you are looking for the best in show chrome, he is expensive, but you get exactly what you thought you were getting-perfect chrome. In fact, he polished some cove trim for me and when it was taken out of the box for installation, it was bent. Without any questions, they said to send it back and they would fix it free of charge. timing is around 8-10 weeks, but well worth it. www.paulschrome.com in Evans City, PA (800)245-8679

I used Pauls too for stainless polishing. They do beautiful work. You need to specify whether you want the tops of the bumpers smoothed or not.
