Tim,
Part #3828382 is listed in my 1964 AIM as being the steering wheel hub. Couldn't find a listing for the other number. Dave

Dave, Thanks, that means the steering column is most likely out of a 1964 model. Just was trying to confirm by the part number what year it may be out of. Let me check my 65 AIM to see if it is listed for a 65 as well. Thanks again, Tim

Tim, What did you get the part number 3845728 off of. I might be of more help if I knew and could look for a specific part in the "64 AIM. Dave

The numbers came from the guy who has the steering column, they are somewhere on the column. I was just trying to verify the year it came out of, as it needs some work. If the price is right and it is out of a 64-66 I might be interested in getting it. I have a 65 so want to make sure it would work. I will see if I can find out specifrically where the numbers are on the steering column. Have to go get my AIM out of the garage.

Tim, FYI..You probably already know this but if you're also buying the steering shaft make sure it's not worn at the bottom column bearing area. You can buy replacement shafts for about $100 but I know I wouldn't pay as much for a column that needed a shaft. I've seen some nearly worn to half thickness due to a bad bearing.

Yes, mine has some wear, that is why I'm interested in getting a replacement, rebuilding it and then swap it out. This way I can take my time and still be able to go for a drive. Tim
