Default Funky electrical problem

Took the 65 for another FCF today for a B profile after much timing and carb tuning, engine runs good but still a little weird in the 750-2000 RPM range still thinking it's carb/cam related.

Anyway last time I had it out and this time the amp gauge tick-tock's from + to - just on each side of 0 and when I turn the light on it stops. Blinkers are off and last time out it stopped above 2000 RPM but this time out that didn't have any effect. I did notice today that when I push on the horn button it lights me up but the horn works.

Any fast check ideas? I will start T/S this tomorrow.

Thanks

Check the steering column ground and the gauge cluster ground.
