I would like to get some professional opinions on the value of this set of heads please.

I have my daughter in a private Christian school and I am behind on the bill and need to get it paid or I wouldn't sell these right now. So please guys I need help here with real numbers on these. I have a lot of $$$ in them in parts and labor alone!! not to mention the initial price.

They have been completly done fresh from the machine shop and are ready to bolt on.
New stainless 1 piece valves
New valve guides and seals
New springs,retainers,locks
Very lightly milled as seen on the pics
Pressure tested and magnafluxed.

No damaged threads, No porting, No problems The heads are 100%

I was told these could have come on a early 67 corvette due to the dates. As you can see on the one the 3873858 was ground off after the 3904391 was hand stamped. I read some where online today that this was done at the factory to use up remaining stock and would make sense given the late date. They are both technically 3873858 heads because I can see a second casting number on the bottom side.

These are a awesome set of heads and I need to get as much as I can to pay my daughters school bill.

Thanks in advance!
Travis

I forgot to mention that they stay sprayed down with WD40 and I also have the rocker arms for them.

Thanks!

Looks to me like the 3904391 head had the code #
filed off & restamped. I believe the # should be raised
like the other head.

There have been many documented instances of GM re-stamping part numbers. Now, I'm not sure in this case but believe that is what daytonayellaZ is thinking due to the late head born date and the 67 model year changing head part numbers. I would assume it's possible especially if that head had no spark plug shield boss.

I sold a pair on ebay last year. Early '66 dated, bare, 858 heads - $1400.00. Back in the early 80's I would drag home wrecked SS Chevelles from the junk yard to get parts for mine. Those heads happened to be in the trunk of one of the cars and I hung onto them all these years. Makes me wonder what all got crushed
