Default vent window chrome

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger and get my vent windows re-done. I've asked a few questions and done a few searches on this forum in the past. At least two vendors were recommended. One in Pa. one in NJ. Could someone give me an estimate on the cost and turn around time for re-chroming? Also, has anyone purchased new vents and if so from who? Thanks guys.

Try Charlie Santorelli in Bedminster, NJ, 908-719-2354. Charlie should have rechromed vent frames ready to go, exchange for yours. He also can provide you with restored vent stainless. The only piece available new for the vents, I believe is the rear verticle stainless piece. I don't recall what Charlie gets for these exchange anymore, but it is competitive with rechroming and a lot quicker.

If you want yours redone, I'd call Jon at Frankford Plating in Phila, 888-288-4525. They're about the best around and the cost and turn around is the same as lesser shops.
