Paint code question
http://www.corvettepaintcodes.com/
Hope this helps.
Sportsman Red: DuPont = 1905-H, Ditzler = DAL70418
Polo White: DuPont = 1783-H, Ditzler = DAL8011, RM = 54V91
I don't know if this will help, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

These codes are 100% correct, regardless of anything else.
Dupont Chromabase, Base Coat/Clear Coat
Polo White - P1923K
Sportsman Red - C9236K
Dash Top Red - Should be flat
I normally flatten down the trunk and conv top areas just a bit, taking into consideration that these areas were not buffed at the factory. Not as flat as the dash top though. This can be accomplished with a Matte Clear from Dupont.
I leave the steering column and steering wheel a normal gloss as the rest of the car.
Polo White door jams - I normally use the Matte Clear on the door shells and jams, since these areas were not buffed. This is accomplished by rolling back the tape so there is not a sharp edge when done spraying.
If you need the formula for an exact Pennant Blue match, I can email it to you, along with the tan for 1954.
Good luck with the project and please keep posting pictures.
