Default What size wheels again ?

Hi. I'm going to a car show in charlott NC. this weekend and hope to buy new wheels for my 64 coupe with stock suspension I'm wanting to put 17inch wheels on .The question again is can I go 17x7 with 4 inch back space front and back or can I go wider in the back? I have disc breaks in the front but not on the back . Are 7,s to wide for the front I don't want to hit a bump with the wheel turned and bust a fender.

The Autofair is definitely a great place to shop for parts. 17X7 with 4" of backspacing will fit just fine. If you want to do more research there is a great FAQ at the top of this section of the forum. BlackMagic has put together a photo gallery of member's cars with different rims. However the only one that I KNOW will fit is the American Racing TTII's. See you in Charlotte. I'll be there with my truck on the track.
