Default Holly Carb

Which carburetor would match up with my car.?
I don't see it here..

Book shows my original carb was 4160 List # 3370 Holly Part #3882835 EO

66 427/390 4 spd No A.I.R. Stock motor

Was this carburetor (4160) electric choke with vacuum secondaries?

How many cfms did the original 4160 on my car have?

Thank you for any info..

I believe that the original carb on the 390 was a 500 or 550 cfm unit. Isn't the original carb. number supposed to be a 3606 and not a 3370? No, the original unit did not have an electric choke. It had the metal spring and rod assembly in the intake manifold that opened up the choke when it heated up. The original carb had a vent on top of the front float bowl that closed when you stepped on the accelerator. Rear was fed by a metering plate and not a metering block. It was a side hung float carb with a tube assembly to feed the rear bowl.

I bought a Holley OEM replacement for my car and it really didn't work worth a damn. I then tried a Holley 3310 on my car and that wasn't worth a damn either. I finally installed a Weiand intake and a Holley model 0-4776 DP (600 CFM) and installed it. The car runs great. Uses a little more fuel when I step on it but the engine runs perfectly with this carb.

The carb for that application was a 3370, as noted in the original post (the 3606 was only used on that engine with A.I.R.); it's a 585CFM model 4160.
